Mounting the rooftop tent
!
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Only lift the rooftop tent onto your vehicle together with
another person.
Ensure that no other persons, especially children, are
near the vehicle when you and your helper lift the roof-
top tent onto the rooftop of the vehicle.
I
NOTE
The side of the rooftop tent where the ladder will be
mounted is marked. Ensure to align the rooftop tent so that
the driver's door of the vehicle is not blocked by the
extended ladder (fig. 4, page 3).
➤ To mount the rooftop tent proceed as shown (fig. 2, page 3 –
fig. e, page 6).
Setting up the rooftop tent
!
CAUTION! Risk of injury and material damage
Do not use any type of compressor designed to inflate
car tires.
Only inflate the air poles up to a maximum pressure of
9psi/0.62bar.
Do not put your fingers in the rung area when setting up
or adjusting the ladder.
➤ To set the rooftop tent up proceed as shown (fig. f, page 6 –
fig. z, page 11).
Folding down the rooftop tent
!
CAUTION! Risk of crushing
Do not put your fingers in the rung area when pushing the
ladder together.
I
NOTE
The blue sliders at the bottom step of the ladder unlock all
segments at once so that the ladder can be pushed together
(fig. E, page 13).
➤ To fold the rooftop tent down proceed as shown (fig. A, page 12 –
fig. H, page 13).
Using the gale 12V electric pump
The gale 12V electric pump is equipped with a pressure induction system
and switches off automatically as soon as the preset pressure is achieved.
The pressure induction system operates with an error margin of ± 0.5 psi.
A
NOTICE! Risk of overheating
Ensure that the electric pump is sufficiently ventilated
during operation.
Do not operate the electric pump continuously for lon-
ger than 15 min as the motor may overheat.
Allow the electric pump to cool down for 30 min after
15 min of continuous use.
I
NOTE
If no buttons have been pressed for 30 s, the LCD dis-
play will go into standby mode. Press any button to reac-
tivate.
At first it will take time for the pressure reading on the
LCD display to increase. This is normal, as a large amount
of air is initially required to fill the air frame before a signif-
icant change in pressure is detected.

Setting up the ladder
!
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Observe the recommended set-up angle of 65° – 75°
(fig. l, page 8).
The sliders of the locking mechanisms can be moved to two positions to
lock or unlock the segments (fig. k, page 8):
➤ Move the sliders on both sides of the ladder onto
