3. OPERATING

Check the device for damage before use
and only use in good working condition.
When using the heater for the first time, you may
notice a slight emission of smoke. This is quite
normal and it stops after a short time. The heating
element is made of stainless steel and was coated
with protection oil by production. The smoke is
caused by the left oil when heated.
Placing the electric heater (Fig. A)
• Place the heater upright on a firm and a level
surface.
• Keep a minimum distance of 1 m between the
front of the housing and walls, combustible

• After long storage always make sure the heat-
ing element (2) is clean and free from dust.
Warning! Make sure to place the heater in
a safe spot, so you cannot easily trip over
the machine and cable. Make sure to place
the heater where it cannot fall down / of.
Starting the electric heater (Fig. A, B)
• Turn the adjustment knobs (12) counterclockwise
to loosen.
• Tilt the heater to the desired position.
• Turn the adjustment knobs (12) clockwise to tight-
en securely.
• Plug in the cable (13) to the mains.
• Set the thermostat knob (11) to the Max.
• The heater will switch on when the function knob
(6) is set to one of the function settings.
• The power indicator light (5) will turn on.
• Once the room reaches the required temperature,
turn the thermostat knob (11) back slowly until
you hear back until you hear a click and the power
indicator light (5) turns off.
• The heater now starts and stops automatically
and therefore keeps the room temperature con-
stant. This means once the temperature
decreased, the heating element and fan will start
again.

Different functions are possible by turning the
function knob (6).
• Power off (7)

Tip-over switch
This heater has a digital tip-over protection. This
protection ensures when the heater is not placed
upright on a firm and level surface or when the
heater tip over, the system will automatically shut
the heater off. If this occurs, put the heater on
a firm and level surface and start the heater again.
