INSTALLING THE STOVE

Choose a location for your Manchester log stove.
Check the location to ensure the stove and chimney
pipes are at the appropriate distance from nearby
combustibles materials. These can be the walls,
floor, ceiling or the chimney flue or items installed
on them. You should carefully consider the
distances to these combustible objects before
operating the stove.
If the ground on which the stove is to be placed
is made of combustible material, place a non-
combustible protective element between the floor
and the stove. An example of a non-combustible
protector for flooring is a base built with tiles,
bricks, slate, glass or other non-combustible
materials.
FIG. 1 - Recommended dimensions of the non-combustible
floor protection.
