Safety
Note that liquid is required to work
with the stick blender. Add broth, juice,
milk or similar to the mixing vessel until
the desired consistency is reached.
Do not mix hot liquids. Hot liquids can
splash out during mixing and cause a
risk of scalding!
Never mix liquids on a heat source,
e.g., on the cooker.
Use a mixing vessel that is large and
tall enough to prevent liquids splashing
out.
Immerse the stick blender with the
blender attachment in the liquid first,
making sure that the bell is completely
submerged before switching on the
stick blender.
Never deposit the device on a hot
surface.
Store the device so that it cannot fall
into a wash basin, sink or similar.
Place the mixing vessel with the food
to be processed with the device on a
firm, flat surface.
Do not try to chop hard ingredients or
nuts with the stick blender.
Cut ingredients into small pieces first
(max. 1.5 cm) before putting them in
the mixing vessel. Do not try to purée
large quantities of ingredients.
If overheating causes an automatic
shut-off, unplug the power plug from
the socket.
16
Switch off the device immediately
and unplug the power plug from the
socket in case of heat or noise devel-
opment.
Do not take the blender attachment
out of the mixing vessel until it has
come to a standstill.
Before all work, such as cleaning or
maintenance, and when not super-
vised and not in use, disconnect the
device from the power supply.
Always clean the device after use. Do
not touch the blades. There is a risk of
injury! If needed, use a soft brush.
Never fully immerse the blender at-
tachment in water or other fluids to
prevent water ingress into the upper
part.
If water does enter the blender attach-
ment, allow it to dry thoroughly and
do not use it again until it is complete-
ly dry.
Make sure that no moisture enters the
housing during cleaning.
Do not use hard cleaning utensils such
as steel wool or sharp or corrosive
cleaning agents to clean the device.
Keep the device in a cool and dry
place that is not accessible to chil-
dren.
