Important Safety Instructions

Please note that the following guidelines meet the requirements of the German road traffic
regulations.
It is your responsibility to find out which guidelines apply in the country in which you want
to use the e-scooter. Make sure that you do not violate any applicable traffic regulations
and only use the e-scooter where it is permitted.

The e-scooter may only be used on public roads by people over the age of 14.
In the context of private use, on non-public premises, people under the age of 14 must be

Brakes, lighting and sound signals are mandatory on the e-scooter.
Before starting the journey, the user must ensure that the technical equipment is fully
functional, the vehicle is not damaged, all parts of the e-scooter are firmly secured and the
steering setting is correct.
As a participant in road traffic, the regulations of the Road Traffic Act (StVo) must be
followed. The guidelines that also apply to cyclists, equally apply as restrictions for small
electric vehicles.
Do not use this device under the influence of alcohol, or taken drugs or medication.
DO NOT RIDE the E-scooter on the sidewalk, in the pedestrian zone, in one-way streets
against the direction of travel and on the wrong side of the street.
E-scooters are allowed to use bike paths and areas marked for cyclists in urban areas. If
these are not available, the road may be used. Outside of built-up areas, only fixed cycle
paths may be used.
Distractions or hazards while driving, e.g. loud music, phone calls or hands-free driving are
prohibited.
