14.2. Chain and bar disassembly
• Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
• Use the Allen wrench supplied to unscrew the two locking nuts ① and remove the cover ②.
• Slightly move the chain tension adjustment screw counterclockwise ③ to loosen the tension and lift the bar
together with the chain.
• Remove the chain and bar ⑦.
14.3. Chain and bar assembly
• Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
• Correctly position the bar and chain ⑦ on the guide ④ and the pinion ⑧, slightly move the chain tension
adjusting screw counterclockwise ③ until the bolt ⑤ is correctly inserted into the hole of the bar ⑥
adjust the bar and the chain ⑦ on the chain saw body ④ and the pinion ⑧.
• Assemble the pinion cover ② and tighten the two nuts ① maintaining the chain tension and the correct
position of the bar.
14.4. Chain tension
While using the chainsaw, the chain overheats and could stretch. If necessary, adjust the chain tension as
indicated below.
