3.1.3 Continuity test with buzzer

Description of the measurement principle:
The device generates a 200mA DC current between the V-
COM terminals. It then measures the voltage across these two
terminals and from it deduces the value of R = V/I.
Attention:
all continuity measurements must be made with no
voltage in the circuit.
To test electrical continuity, proceed as follows:
1.
Set the switch to
;
2.
Connect the black lead to the COM terminal and the red lead to "V- ";
4.
Place the contact tips on the terminals of the component or
circuit to be measured;
The audible signal (buzzer) indicates continuity; the measured value
is displayed on screen.

3.1.4 Resistance measurement

Description of the measurement principle:
The device generates a DC voltage between the V-
terminals. It then measures the current across these two terminals
and from it deduces the value of R=V/I.
Attention:
all resistance measurements must be made in the
absence of any voltage.
To measure a resistance, proceed as follows:
1.
Set the switch to k ;
2.
Connect the black lead to the COM terminal and the red lead to "V- ";
3.
Place the contact tips on the terminals of the component or
circuit to be measured;
