4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Warning
All operations described in this paragraph must only be
performed by professionally qualified personnel.
4.1. FLOOR OR WALL INSTALLATION
The dehumidifier can be installed in the centre of the room to be
dehumidified, if possible, so that there are no obstacles to air intake
and outlet.
Warning
The dehumidifier must always be in a vertical position
when operating and during transport, handling and
storage.
If not, serious consequences could occur and the
refrigeration circuit could be completely blocked.
Minimum distance from surrounding walls: 30 cm. The unit must
not be placed near sources of heat (e.g. radiators, stoves, heating
vents, etc.) or near doors or openings. Finally, room doors and
windows must be closed while the dehumidifier is running.
Warning
Never place cloths or towels on the dehumidifier while it is
running.
Warning
In the event of fire, to prevent injury — asphyxiation, skin
burns, circuit explosion, panic — the machine must be
immediately removed from the room and taken outdoors.
Warning
The dehumidifier contains a type HFO - R454C refrigerant,
with safety rating of A2L (Fluorinated greenhouse gases in
hermetically sealed unit).
The dehumidifiers described in this manual have been designed by
checking the essential safety requirements for the type and quantity
of refrigerant indicated. They can therefore be installed in any room
above or below ground; the sole exception is 100 l/24h model which
can only be installed in rooms with an area of 10 m

4.2. POWER CONNECTIONS
Warning
Before switching on the dehumidifier and, therefore, before plugging
it into the electrical power supply, check that the power supply
specifications are the same as those stated on the dataplate.
An external humidistat (only for models 70 l/24h and 100 l/24h),
available in the catalogue as an accessory, must be connected by
hooking the electrical cable up to the white 4-pin humidistat plug
(see wiring diagram)
Warning
For all accessories, installation and connection are described in the
specific instructions included together with operating instructions
for each accessory.
The electrical diagram shown in this manual refers to the electrical
connection only.
Warning
If necessary, change the pre-set power supply voltage as follows:
• remove the front panel
• locate the plastic cover indicating the selected voltage (110V or
• remove the plastic cover;
• push the switch into the desired position (110V or 240 V);

The power cable must be connected to a switchboard
equipped with a circuit breaker.
Never attempt to switch the dehumidifier on or off by
connecting other control devices to the electrical power
supply line.
