4 Startup
4.1 Setup
⇒ Place the unit on a stable, level work table�
⇒ Place the unit near to a water connection / drain�
⇒ Place the unit so that the power plug can be accessed easily�
4.2 Water connection
4.2.1 Water intake
⇒ Connect the water hose (9) to the water connection (12) of the unit�
⇒ Connect the water hose to a water supply with a water shut-off valve.
⇒ Carefully open the water shut-off valve and check the leak-tightness of the
connections�
4.2.2 Water drainage
⇒ Slide the drain hose (8) onto the connection piece (13) with a twisting move-
ment�
⇒ Secure with a clamp (1)�
⇒ Lay the drain hose at an incline�
4.3 Electrical connection
⇒ Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds to the mains voltage�
⇒ Connect the power plug (7, Fig� 1)�
4.4 Switching on / off
The unit is switched on and off via the on / off switch (2, Fig. 1).
After switching on, wait until the trimmer disc has reached its nominal speed
(approx. 2 - 3 seconds).
Do not begin trimming beforehand.
(3 x 80 grit size, 2 x 120 grit size) + carrier disc
