Initial Operation
Before first operation, the proper seat of all
jumpers must be ensured.
5.1
Interface X 4
The interface X 4 is located at the front. This
serves for:
1 Supply 24 V for external consumers and
VE310
2 Feeder for personnel safety system (emer-
gency off), further referred to as PS.

The voltage circuits on the X4 strip
terminal are safely isolated from the
main power circuit (safe isolation in
accordance with EN50178). When
using the connections provided on
the strip terminal, the requirements
for safe isolation of current circuits
must be observed.

For central control of the motor contactors in-
tegrated in the servo amplifiers LT30x, the PS
signal must be wired. The reference potential
for this are pins 5-7.
It is the responsibility of the user to
comply with the system-specific re-
quirements for an emergency off
system.
When using external mains contac-
tors in superior emergency off cir-
cuits, 30 seconds should elapse
before restarting.
The emergency off circuits must be
tested for proper functioning prior
to initial operation of the tightening
system!
