The monitor, batteries and cuff should be disposed of according to local regulations at
the end of their use.
6.2 Setting the Time and Date
a. Once the battery is inserted, the blood pressure monitor will enter the clock and date setting
mode.
b. While the monitor is in the clock mode, press the "START" and "MEM" button simultaneously
for two seconds, the month will flash first. Press the "START" button several times, the day, hour
and minute will flash in turn. While the number is flashing, press the "MEM" button to change
the number. Keep the "MEM" button pressed to change the number quickly.
c. You can deactivate the monitor by pressing the "START" button when the minute is flashing,
then the time and date are confirmed.
d. The monitor turns off automatically after 1 minute without any operation with the date and
time unchanged. You can turn off the monitor by pressing the "START" button when the minute
is flashing, and then the time and date are confirmed.
e. Once you change the batteries, you must set the date and time again.
6.3 Connecting the cuff to the monitor
Insert the cuff tubing connector into the socket on the left side of the
monitor. Make sure that the connector is fully inserted to avoid air leakage
during blood pressure measurements.
Avoid compression or obstruction of the connecting tubing during measurement, it may
cause inflation error, or harmful injury due to continuous pressure from the cuff.
6.4. Putting on the cuff
a. Pull the cuff end through the metal buckle (the cuff is already packaged
this way) twist it towards (away from the body) and fasten it with the hook and
loop fastener.
b. Place the cuff around the bare arm 1-2 cm above the elbow joint (at the
level of the heart).
c. While seated, place your palm up and in front of you on a flat surface, such
as a table or desk. Place the air tube in the middle of your arm in line with
your middle finger.
d. The cuff should fit comfortably around your arm. You should be able to
insert a finger between your arm and the cuff.
