6.10. Description of technical alarms
The monitor will display "Hi" or "Lo" as a technical alarm on the screen without delay if the
determined blood pressure (systolic or diastolic) is outside the nominal range specified in the
SPECIFICATIONS section. In this case, you should consult a physician or check if the operation
complies with the instructions.
The technical alarm condition (out of nominal range) is set at the factory and cannot be adjusted
or disabled. This alarm condition is assigned as low priority according to IEC 60601-1-8.
The technical alarm does not latch and no reset is required. The signal displayed on the LCD
will disappear automatically after approximately 8 seconds.
