The specialized personnel carrying out the installation and the electrical connection must properly instruct
the user on the operation of the appliance and any safety measures to be observed. The installer must also
practically show the user how to use the appliance and must give him the written instructions supplied with
the appliance.
Installation and connection must be carried out in compliance with the standards in force.
Before proceeding with the installation and commissioning of the dishwasher, it is necessary to carefully read
the instructions in this manual and, in particular, the safety regulations.
The dishwasher is intended for professional use. It must be used by personnel trained for this purpose.
Before connecting the dishwasher to the mains, make sure that the general indications and data supplied by
the manufacturer, which appear on the nameplate, have been carefully considered in the various phases of
preparation for the installation.
Also, check that:
- All the removable elements are correctly positioned.
- Check that the dishwasher is perfectly level; if necessary, adjust the feet of the dishwasher.
Hydraulic connection
Feed
To connect the device, only use a gate valve that allows the power supply to be interrupted in the event of
need or repairs. The minimum supply pressure, measured at the water connection of the device at the time
of the final rinse (dynamic pressure) must not be less than 180 kPa (1.8 bars) and greater than 400 kPa (4
bars), even in the presence of other valves open on the same line. In order to avoid pressure or load losses,
it is in any case recommended that each appliance has its own supply pipe, of reduced length and of sufficient
section. If the pressure is below the minimum required, an additional flushing pump will need to be fitted,
available as an optional item. In the presence of static pressure greater than 600 kPa (6 bars), it will be
necessary to install a pressure reducer upstream of the supply pipe. Make sure that the supply water
temperature corresponds to the indications provided in the technical documentation. To obtain a good
washing result, it is recommended that the water supply has a hardness between 7 and 12° F. If the water
hardness is higher than 12° F, we recommend installing a scaler upstream of the supply solenoid valve
calibrated for a residual hardness of 5/7°F.
THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE IS CLOSELY LINKED TO COMPLIANCE WITH
INDICATED VALUES.
Open the water supply gate valve before putting the appliance into service.
Drain
The drain hose must be connected to a drain or a siphon. Make sure that theevacuation pipes provided in
the room do not have any restrictions and allow a rapid flow of water. The drain hose must withstand a
temperature of at least 70°C.
Since the emptying of the tank occurs by gravity, the drain must be located at a lower level compared to the
tail of the tank. If the appliance is fitted with a drain pump, the drain can be located on the wall but its height
cannot exceed the value of 1.2 metres.
Electrical connection
AN EFFICIENT EARTHING SYSTEM IS A GUARANTEE OF SAFETY
FOR THE OPERATOR AND FOR THE DEVICE.
THE MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES
CAUSED BY LACK OF EARTHING THE INSTALLATION.
It is absolutely forbidden to use adapters, multiple sockets and extension cords.
Check that the power supply is compatible with the indications given on the appliance's nameplate. The
device must be incorporated into an equipotential system verified in accordance with the regulations in force.
Make the connection using the screw placed on the back of the device bearing the corresponding symbol
.
The connection to the power line must be made by means of a multipolar differential magnetothermal switch
with a contact opening distance equal to or greater than 3 mm.
