5.2 Cleaning
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (to be performed daily)
It is essential to clean the inside of the dishwasher:
• Remove the filters from the tank and clean them
• Do not use acidic, corrosive or abrasive products, or steel brushes to clean the device.
• Wait for the appliance surfaces to cool before cleaning the exterior. Use a sponge and non-foaming, non-
acidic and non-abrasive products.
Do not use water jets or steam cleaners for cleaning
• Check that the nozzles on the wash and rinse arms are not clogged; if necessary, unclog them. The wash
and rinse arms can be easily removed without the need for tools, by simply unscrewing the lower and upper
pivots.
• At the end of cleaning, leave the cover open to dry the inside of the appliance and to prevent the formation
of bad odors.
• To guarantee washing hygiene, disinfect the appliance at least once a week using specific disinfectant
products and ending the operation with repeated vacuum rinsing for a few minutes.
In all cleaning operations, NEVER use products which could form foam in the dishwasher.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (to be performed every 2 weeks)
• After a certain period of operation, the presence of calcium and magnesium salts in the water causes the
formation of scale which can compromise the correct operation of the dishwasher.
Call qualified personnel for descaling.
• Check that the safety devices work correctly.
