4. Change the engine oil (see page 28).
5. Clean the air cleaner (see page 30).
6. Loosen the 5 mm hex socket bolt, then remove the top cover (see
page 32).
7. Remove the spark plug (see page 33).
8. Apply a couple of drops of clean engine oil into the cylinder.
9. Install the top cover temporarily.
10. Pull the starter grip several times to distribute the oil in the cylinder.
11. Remove the top cover, then reinstall the spark plug.
12. Install the top cover, and tighten the 5 mm hex socket bolt
securely.
13. Move the choke lever to the CLOSED (upwards) position.
14. Pull the starter grip slowly until resistance is felt.
15. Cover the pump to keep out dust.
