INSTALLATION
1. 76-105 cm (>15 months, max. 18 kg) i-SIZE Universal ISOFIX:
installation with ISOFIX and Top Tether (see illustrations
from number 4 to 13).
FOCUS AREAS
a) Do not use the product until the child is 15 months old.
b) Only install on seats equipped with an Isofix and Top Tether Sys-
tem. The child must not weigh more than 18 kg.
c) During installation with the Isofix system, the vehicle safety harness
must not be fastened behind the child car seat, as this would en-
gage the inflatable portion of the safety harness.
2. Changing the configuration from i-SIZE Universal ISOFIX to
i-SIZE Booster Seat (see illustrations from number 14 to 21).
3. 100-150 cm i-SIZE Booster Seat: installation with ISOFIX and
the car's three-point safety harness or with just the car's
three-point safety harness (see illustrations from number
22 to 39).
FOCUS AREAS
a) The vehicle seat must be equipped with a 3-point safety harness,
whether static or with a retractor, approved according to UN/ECE
Regulation no. 16 or other equivalent standards (Fig. 22).
b) Never fit the car seat to a vehicle seat that is only equipped with a
2-point safety harness (Fig. 23).
c) Make sure that the abdominal portion of the vehicle's safety har-
ness rests correctly on the waist of the child.
d) If used in a vehicle equipped with rear vehicle seat belts with in-
tegrated air bags (inflatable seat belts), the interplay between the
inflatable portion of the seat belt and this child restraint system
could cause serious injury or death. When using the car seat in
vehicles equipped with rear vehicle seat belt with integrated air
bags (inflatable seat belts), follow the car manufacturer's instruc-
tion manual.
e) If the vehicle is not fitted with Isofix anchorage, the car seat can
be installed front-facing with a 3-point vehicle harness approved
according to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or equivalent, in the 100-
150 cm configuration only.
f ) The car seat can be fitted on the front passenger seat or on any one
of the rear seats. Never use this child car seat on vehicle seats facing
the sides or opposite to the direction of the driver's seat (Fig. 24).
g) Make sure that the buckle of the car's three-point belt is not too
far up. Otherwise, try to install the car seat on a different seat in
the vehicle.
