Assembly
- Fully remove the original foot pegs.
- Mount the pre-assembled pivot foot pegs with the springs (included) and
- Remove the rubber bands that secure the springs.
- Secure the bolt with the original washers and the new large splints (inclu-
NOTE:
The pivot foot pegs are mounted in the same manner as the original foot peg unit.

Maintenance
- Check the nut regularly to ensure it is tightened properly (25Nm).
- Grease the parts regularly (every 15 hours).
- Regularly check all parts for damage and replace any damaged parts.
NOTE:
Use a new nut (1) every time the foot peg is disassembled.
After a fall, check all parts for damage and replace them, if necessary.
Disassembling and assembling
- Remove the nut (3) and pull off all components one by one.
- Clean the parts and check for damage/wear.
Replace any damaged parts.
- Grease all O-rings (3).
- Slide an O-ring (3) onto the foot peg holder (7).
- Thoroughly grease the shaft of the foot peg holder (7).
- Position the spring (6) on the rear of the foot peg (5) (for direction, see
NOTE:
Position the spring so that the positioning pin (B) is located between the
spring ends (C).
Foot peg (5)
- Mount the foot peg holder (7) in the foot peg (5).
NOTE:
The positioning pin (D) must be positioned between the spring ends (C).
- Slide two O-rings on the end of the foot peg holder (7).

- Position the washer (2) and mount the nut (25Nm).
