4.3 Equipment Operation
Temperature shall be set prior to commencement of the ice cream preparation. For this pur-
pose, press the SDB and ADD buttons while the equipment is in the standby mode. Under the
normal ambient conditions, the recommended temperature is - 3/-5 °С. When the temperature
in the tank reaches the set value, the equipment will stop automatically, provided that ice
cream is ready (which is shown by the relevant light indicator). Ice cream will start forming
within 10 minutes after the paste has been loaded. Ice cream preparation time may vary de-
pending on ingredients and the ambient temperature. The equipment can be stopped in the
course of mixing and cooling by pressing the STOP button.
4.4 Ingredients Used
Only high quality ingredients shall be used for ice cream preparation. Use only special mixes
with low fat content (up to 5%) for this purpose.
4.5 Overnight Storage
First, press the STOP button to turn the freezer into the standby mode. Then, press and hold
FREZE and SOFT buttons for 5 seconds — the freezer will shift into the overnight storage mode.
5. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
5.1. Cooling Tank Cleaning
The cooling tank shall be cleaned daily to avoid the health damage and to increase the equip-
ment's service life.
•
Press the WASH button to empty the tank with paste. After that, press the STOP but-
ton.
•
Fill each tank with warm water with a small quantity of detergent.
•
Press the WASH button and wait for 5 minutes, empty the tanks.
•
After that, flush the tanks with clean water 2-3 times, and turn off the equipment.
•
To complete the procedure, power off and disassembly the equipment, clean its com-
ponents.
•
Further, unscrew four bolts on the front panel of the outlet tap and remove its com-
ponents.
•
These components include: fixing pin, handle, plunger, and handle sealing ring.
•
Clean all removed components and replace the damaged ones as necessary.
•
Remove the screw from the cooling tanks and remove the sealing ring, rinse and dry
it.
•
Reinstall the components in reverse order having lubricated the sealing rings with
food-grade petrolate supplied with the equipment.
To turn on the overnight storage mode (HKN-BQ66TPS model), press FREEZE and SOFT buttons
and hold them for 5 seconds.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Typical problems occurring in the course of this equipment operation are listed below. Trou-
bleshooting shall be performed in accordance with the failure type. In case a detected failure
