INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE
1. Connect the condensate separator (E) complete with the adapter (B) to the
pressure regulating valve (C) of the EPC gun.
2. Release the powder coating bin (4) and place it with its open end up on a clean
piece of paper.
3. Fill the bin with the powder coat (not included) up to 5 cm below the open end
edge.
4. Turn the EPC gun upside down and install the powder coat bin by threading it
to the air outlet tube section (A).
5. Connect a ¼ " compressed air supply line (not included) to the adapter (B) on
the condensate separator.
6. Install the suitable dispersing nozzle on the conductor pole (D).
7. Attach the equipotential bonding clamp (8) to the metal workpiece to be
coated.
CAUTION! Attach the equipotential bonding clamp (8) to a location
which will not be coated (if it is not feasible, remove the clamp at the end of
EPC processing and coat the location using the force of gravity). The
equipotential bonding shall always be made as it is required to attrach the
charged powder coating particles to the workpiece!
