SECTION
REFRIGERATOR
SHELVES
The shelves
in your refrigerator
are adjustable
to
meet your individual
storage needs. Your model may
have glass or wire shelves.
Storing
similar food items together
in your
refrigerator
and adjusting
the shelves
to fit different
heights of items will make finding the exact item you
want easier; it will also reduce
the amount
of time
the refrigerator
door is open, saving energy.
IMPORTANT:
Do not clean glass shelves
with warm
water while they are cold. Shelves
may break if
exposed
to sudden
temperature
changes
or impact,
such as bumping.
For your protection,
glass shelves
are made with tempered
glass, which will shatter
into
small pebble-sized
pieces.
NOTE:
Glass shelves
are heavy. Use special care
when removing
them to avoid dropping
them.
21
_, CAUTION:
Make sure that shelves
are level from
one side to the other. Failure to do so may result
in the shelf falling or food spilling.
Sliding
Out Shelves
You can slide glass shelves
in and out of your
refrigerator
as follows.
• To slide
the shelf
out, carefully
pull front of the
shelf toward you.
• To slide
the shelf
in, push the shelf in until it
stops.
