OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. To Attach Battery Pack
a. Align the raised portion on the battery pack with
the grooves on the bottom of the tool, and then
slide the battery pack onto the tool as shown.
b. Make sure that the latch on the battery pack
snaps into place and the battery pack is
secured to the tool before beginning operation.
NOTICE: When placing the battery pack on the tool,
be sure that the raised rib on battery pack aligns
with the groove on the tool and the latches snap into
place properly. Improper assembly of the battery
pack can cause damage to internal components.
To Detach Battery Pack
a. Press the battery-release buttons to release the battery pack.
b. Pull the battery pack backward to remove it from the tool.
WARNING: Battery tools are always in operating condition. Therefore, always remove the
battery pack when the tool is not in use or when carrying the tool at your side.
2. To Attach Belt Clip
The belt clip (O) can be installed on the left or right
side of the nailer, depending on operator preference.
a. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
b. Align the belt clip and the screw hole on the
right or left side of the nailer.
c.
Using a phillips head screwdriver (not included)
tighten the screw securely.
3. No-Mar Pad
The no-mar pad (M) attached to the nose of the tool
helps prevent marring and denting the work surface
when working with softer woods.
WARNING: Remove the battery pack from the
tool before removing or replacing the no-mar pad. Fail-
ure to do so could result in serious personal injury.
a. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
b. Remove the used no-mar pad by pulling it down
and away from the nose.
c.
To replace the no-mar pad, fit it into place over
the nose and push it up to reseat.
On-board storage (N) for the no-mar pad is located on the magazine of the tool. An extra no-
mar pad is provided in the on-board storage area.
