3) BOILING FUNCTION
a) Place the kettle (4) on the power base unit (5) and press the "ON/OFF button (9)" to start the boiling/
heating cycle. The water windows (2) light will turn ON.
b) When the boiling/heating cycle is finished the water windows (2) light will turn OFF.
c) At any time, the function boiling water can be stopped by lifting the ON/OFF button (9).
d) POURING OUT WATER: Remove the kettle from the power base unit (5), holding it by its handle (3). Ensure
that the kettle body remains steady while lifting it from the power base unit (5). Pour the water from the
spout (7) with the lid (1) closed.
ATTENTION: boiling water can cause burns. Always ensure to pour boiling water slowly and carefully, taking
care not to tilt the spout too rapidly.
Automatic shutdown
The kettle is equipped with a system that automatically switches off the device shortly after the water is
boiled.
If warm water is desired, the heating process can be stopped anytime by pressing the on/off button (9).
The shutdown takes place automatically as the kettle is removed from its base
Safety system
A thermostat protects the kettle from overheating: if the device is accidentally switched on empty, this
system automatically switches off the device. The device will restart its normal functions in around 10
minutes.
If the first thermostat protection would not function due to improper use, another temperature limiter
ensures protection.

1) CONNECT THE BASE (5) TO POWER SOCKET
a) WARNING: Make sure that the electric socket that you are using is suitably
earthed. Never allow parts carrying live voltage to come into contact with
water: it may cause a short circuit!!! (follow all the safety instructions specified
before). To disconnect, make sure that the kettle is not running. Do not unplug
the kettle from the wall outlet by pulling on the cord. Always unplug the ap-
pliance by holding the plug (6). To switch off the device completely, the plug (6)
has to be removed from the socket.
b) To plug in the power base (5) insert the plug (6) into the socket.
2) WATER LEVEL INDICATION
The water level mark (8) is visible, when lid (1) removed from the kettle body
(4), inside the kettle.
ATTENTION: NEVER OPERATE WHEN KETTLE IS OVERFILLED WITH MORE THAN
1,2 liters / 40.58 US fl.oz / 42.23 UK fl.oz OF WATER: DURING HEATING YOU
MAY HAVE HOT WATER SPLASHED FROM THE SPOUT. DANGER OF BURN.
