SAFETY GUIDELINES - DEFINITIONS
You must read and understand this manual thoroughly. Information in it
concerns the protection of your SAFETY and PREVENTION OF PROBLEMS.
The symbols below are used to help you recognize this information.
DANGER!
It indicates a situation of imminent danger that, if not avoided,
will result in death or severe injuries.
ATTENTION!
It indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
may result in death or severe injuries.
CAUTION!
It indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
could result in minor or moderate injuries.
Using the equipment without the safety alert symbols indicates a
OBS.:
potentially hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in pro-
perty damage.
1. Safety Recommendations
1.1. Work area safety
a. Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Disorganized areas or poorly lit areas
make it easier for accidents to occur.
b. Keep children and bystanders away when operating the equipment. Dis-
tractions can make you lose control.
ATTENTION!
Do not pollute the environment. Environment preser-
vation principles such as recycling and eliminating waste
from any equipment, its parts, and components must be
respected, considering the legislation in force and the
manufacturer's instructions on the parts, components, and
any other item of the equipment eliminated.
1.2. Personal Safety
ATTENTION!
Wear personal protective equipment. Risk of intoxication.
a. Wear protective gloves. They protect from contact with applied products and
reduce the effects of equipment vibration.
b. Wearing non-slip shoes is recommended. They help maintain balance in the
work environment and prevent possible accidents.
c. Please do not overdo yourself. Maintaining good body position and balance
allows for better equipment control in unexpected situations.
d. Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your
hair, clothing, and gloves clear from the equipment moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewelry, or long hair can get caught in moving parts.
e. Stay alert, pay attention to your actions, and use common sense when
operating the equipment. Do not use the equipment if you are tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inatten-
tion during an operation could result in severe personal injury.
f. Wash thoroughly hands and body parts that have been in contact with
the products used. In case of poisoning, see a doctor immediately. Show him
the label of the product used.

g. Do not change the equipment. It can cause risks to the operator and void the
warranty.
DANGER!
Do not eat, drink or smoke during operations. There is
a severe risk of poisoning.
2. Introduction
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This manual contains all the information necessary
for your equipment's assembly, operation, and maintenance. Please read it care-
fully and strictly follow its instructions for use.
This equipment was designed to apply fertilizers incorporated in the soil, in the
granulated formulation, in citrus, coffee, banana crops, and in pine, eucalyptus,
teak, and other reforestations (base fertilization).
