TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
The heater is designed to directly heat any liquid in domestic and industrial installations, e.g. in boilers, hot
water tanks, water preheaters or flow heaters. The heater's head must be fully submerged in the liquid at all
EN
times during operation. Suitable for applications where it is necessary to immediately control the
temperature of the liquid. Tubular heaters have good thermal, electrical and mechanical properties. The
heater consists of two parts - the heating part and the terminal plate. The heating section consists of three
heating elements made of brass, steel or stainless steel (D8.5 mm; copper, stainless steel 17 248 / INCOLOY
800) with heavily compacted insulation material in which the heating coil is sealed. All the materials used
ensure maximum corrosion protection. The U-shaped heating elements are attached to the head with an
M48x2 or G6/4" thread, made of stainless steel or brass. The terminal plate is made of cast aluminium with
IP54 (TRG11 and 31) or plastic with IP67 (TRG13). It includes a control single-phase or three-phase capillary
thermostat, a digital thermostat and a thermal fuse to prevent the heater from overheating, a neon lamp
indicating the status (heating / not heating) and a control knob or digital thermostat keypad. A wide range of
temperature ranges, material designs or surface finishes can be supplied upon request. The heaters are easily
installed using a socket with an M48x2 or G6/4" thread. An optional accessory, is the possibility to choose a
nut of the pertinent thread, where the heater is not installed in the lug, but only in the 48-50mm hole (for
M48x2 or G6/4" thread). Electrical supply is possible from both sides via an OBO-VTEC grommet. The
electrical leads are connected directly to the thermostat terminals and not to the heating rods. The heater
must be earthed in line with the relevant standards. The requisite temperature is set by the control knob or
via the digital thermostat display, accessible from the front side of the Al terminal plate (TRG11 and TRG31),
the neon lamp inside the ABS terminal plate (TRG13) shows whether it is heating or not. The TRG11 series
heater comes with or without a power cable. The TRG13 and TRG31 heaters always come with the
corresponding wiring.
TRG series heaters can be equipped with thermostats with the following parameters:
