Installing the side handle
Remove the bolts shown in the figure from the tool.

Installing the reaction receiver
P l a c e t h e r e a c t i o n r e c e i v e r s o t h a t t h e b a r o f t h e r e a c -
t i o n r e c e i v e r c o m e s t o t h e l e f t s i d e o f t h e o p e r a t o r .
Adjust the position of the reaction receiver so that the
a x i s o f t h e s p i n d l e i s i n t h e c e n t e r o f t h e o p e r a t o r ' s b o d y .
Fasten the bolts firmly.

Tool / battery protection system
T h e t o o l i s e q u i p p e d w i t h a t o o l / b a t t e r y p r o t e c t i o n s y s -
tem. This system automatically cuts o power to the
m o t o r t o e x t e n d t o o l a n d b a t t e r y l i f e . T h e t o o l w i l l a u t o -
m a t i c a l l y s t o p d u r i n g o p e r a t i o n i f t h e t o o l o r b a t t e r y i s
p l a c e d u n d e r o n e o f t h e f o l l o w i n g c o n d i t i o n s :
Overload protection
W h e n t h e t o o l / b a t t e r y i s o p e r a t e d i n a m a n n e r t h a t
c a u s e s i t t o d r a w a n a b n o r m a l l y h i g h c u r r e n t , t h e t o o l
stops automatically. In this situation, turn the tool o
a n d s t o p t h e a p p l i c a t i o n t h a t c a u s e d t h e t o o l t o b e c o m e
o v e r l o a d e d . T h e n t u r n t h e t o o l o n t o r e s t a r t .
Overheat protection
W h e n t h e t o o l / b a t t e r y i s o v e r h e a t e d , t h e t o o l s t o p s
a u t o m a t i c a l l y . I n t h i s s i t u a t i o n , l e t t h e t o o l / b a t t e r y c o o l
b e f o r e t u r n i n g t h e t o o l o n a g a i n .
Overdischarge protection
W h e n t h e b a t t e r y c a p a c i t y i s n o t e n o u g h , t h e t o o l s t o p s
a u t o m a t i c a l l y . I n t h i s c a s e , r e m o v e t h e b a t t e r y f r o m
t o o l a n d c h a r g e t h e b a t t e r y .

Main power switch
WARNING:
When the tool is not in use, turn
the tool o and set the reversing s itch lever in
the neutral position to lock the trigger. Always be
sure that the main power lamp goes out after you
turn the tool o .
