Trim the Anti-Chip Strip
(1) Loosen the cut-depth stop knob, slide the
stop to align the pointer with the ¼" mark,
and tighten the knob.
(2) Place the guide track on a scrap
workpiece at least 62" [158cm] long and
1" [25mm] wider than the guide track.
Position the saw on the guide track with
both tracking controllers engaged.
(3) Loosen the splinter guard screw with the
small hex wrench stored in the forward
grip and raise it to the full-up position.
(4) Set the blade mode to Cut.
