Leave the coffee maker to cool for at least five minutes between two percolation cycles.

Before cleaning the appliance, ensure that it has been unplugged from the power
socket, then leave it to cool fully.

The jug is designed to be used with this appliance only; it must not be used with a
high-range appliance. When the jug is full of hot coffee, do not put it down on a damp

6.1. Descaling
N.B. : The coffee maker must be descaled regularly. The descaling intervals depend mainly on the
hardness of the water and the frequency of use. Use only commercially available descalers and
follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Fill the water reservoir (6) to the maximum level line 10 with water and an appropriate
amount of descaler.

Ensure that the filter (1) (with no ground coffee) and filter holder (2) are correctly in place.

Turn on the appliance and leave the descaling solution to percolate.
5.
Turn off the appliance once one cup of descaling solution has percolated.
Wash the filter holder and the filter in warm water. Leave them to
dry fully.
Wash the jug in warm water and mild detergent.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Leave them to dry fully.
N.B. : the glass jug may be washed in a dishwasher.
Clean using a soft, damp cloth to remove any stains. Leave them
to dry fully.
Warning: Never let water or other liquids get into the appliance.
Pay special attention to the vents.
Never use strong cleaning products or abrasive products.
Keep the appliance in a dry place, protected from humidity and
direct sunlight, and out of the reach of children.
