PERSONAL-SECURITY.
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using the compressor. Do
not use it when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment
of distraction while working with the equipment can result in serious injury.
• The warnings, precautions and instructions in this manual do not cover all possible situations
that may arise. The good common sense of the operator and his own precaution, are factors
that can not be manufactured with the compressor.
• Always be careful when using the compressor. Keep it out of reach of observers and children.
Always work with the appropriate protective equipment for the work you are going to do
(masks, goggles, etc.).
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR AIR COMPRESSORS.
WARNING !: Compressed air is a potentially dangerous form of energy, always be very
careful when using the compressor and pay special attention to the warnings in this manual.
WARNING !: The compressor starts up unexpectedly to recharge the air in the tank, as
a result of the normal programmed work sequence.
Place the compressor in a clean, dry and well-ventilated area, with an ambient temperature
between+5ºC, and+40ºC.
The compressor must be located at a minimum distance of one meter from the wall or any
other obstruction that interferes with the air flow.
Place the compressor on a smooth, level surface.
Keep the sides and other adjoining areas clean that can pick up dust or dirt. A clean
compressor works better and lasts longer.
Do not place rags, containers or other materials on top of the compressor that could obstruct
the ventilation openings or air intake in the fans, in order to maintain the proper operating
temperature.
Do not force the compressor. Use it following the specifications, so it will perform better and
more safely the work for which it was designed.
Always use the switch (1) to turn the compressor on and off. Do not use the equipment if the
switch does not work properly.
Use the carrying handle (2) to move the compressor.
Empty the compressor tank through the drain (9) when work is finished or for transport or
storage.
Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, maintenance,
changing accessories or storing the compressor. These preventive measures reduce the risk
of the equipment being accidentally started.
Store electrical machines out of the reach of children and any other person who is not trained
in handling. Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Always keep the equipment
in good condition. A properly maintained compressor is less likely to break down or cause
accidents.
Never direct the air jet towards people, animals or towards your own body.
