You may need someone's help in this step to keep pressure

on the LONG SLAT.
Turn fi ve BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the
å
UPPER PANEL (D) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on
the surface of the UPPER PANEL.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the SCREWS.
å
Slide one of the LONG SLATS (E) onto the UPPER PANEL (D).
å
Line up the groove in the LONG SLAT over the heads of the
SCREWS in the UPPER PANEL. The LONG SLAT should rest
against the LEFT MOLDING (H).
NOTE: If the SLAT comes up off of the SCREWS, remove it
å
and slide it on again.

you guide the LONG SLAT over the
SCREWS and onto the UPPER PANEL.
