1. Place the unit in a stable and well ventilated location.
Note: Use only the built in charger. Never use an external charger, it may damage
the jump starter.
2. Connect the female end of the 2-pin extension cord to the charger plug on the front
of the unit. The charger plug is located in a recessed cavity on the upper left of the
front of the unit.
3. Connect the male end to the extension cord to the AC outlet.
4. Charge until the unit is fully charged using the battery status gauge as a guide as to
whether the unit has reached full charge. This charging method is fully automatic,
eliminating any risk of overcharging. Using this method, the unit may be connected
to the AC outlet continuously, with no adverse consequences.
Charging using the supplied 12 Volt Male-Male Extension Cord. This alternative charging
method may be used when access to an AC outlet is unavailable. (Overcharge Risk -
See below)
1. Start the vehicle's engine.
2. Plug one end of the 12 Volt Male-Male Extension Cord into the Jump-N-Carry
12 Volt outlet and the other end into the vehicle's 12 Volt power port.
3. Charge the unit based on the suggested recharge times shown in the following
table.
Note: DO NOT OVERCHARGE! With this method, you must frequently monitor
the 12V charging process to ensure the unit is not overcharged. Overcharging will
damage your Jump-N-Carry.
STEPS AFTER CHARGING (either method):
1. Unplug from the wall or 12V outlet, and then unplug from the charger.
2. Connect the selector to the 12-volt connector.
3. Press the gage actuation button on the front of the case.
- A fully charged battery has at least 12.8 volts.
An EXPLOSION may occur if you grossly overcharge the jump starter, as can happen
via mismatched voltage. Never connect a 12 Volt jump starter to a 24 Volt vehicle. This
will generate flammable gasses that may explode and cause proper damage and / or
bodily harm.
A unit exposed to mismatched voltage (12V unit/24V system) should be immediately
12V
locked out of operation and tagged as unsafe for use. Batteries should be replaced
24V
prior to further use. Failure to do so creates an imminent explosion risk.
SUGGESTED 12 VOLT RECHARGE TIMES

After using as portable power:
