Do not use the patio heater indoors, as it may cause personal injury or property damage. This patio heater is not inten-
ded for installation in recreational vehicles and/or boats.
•
Handling and repair should be performed by a qualified service technician. Installation, adjustment, alteration may cau-
se personal injury or property damage . Do not attempt to alter the unit in any way, except for the maintenance process.
•
Never replace or substitute the regulator with any other regulator than the one suggested by the manufacturer.
•
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids near the stove.
•
The overall gas system, hose, regulator, assembly, connections and burner should be inspected for leaks or damage befo-
re use, and at least before each season of use.
•
All leak testing should be done with a soapy solution. Never use a flame to test for leaks. Do not use the stove until all
connections have been checked.
•
Shut off gas valve immediately if gas odor is detected. Turn regulator valve to off position. If there is leakage at the hose
/ regulator connection: tighten the connection and perform another leak test. If bubbles continue to appear it should
be returned to the place of purchase of the hose. If the leak is at the regulator / cylinder valve connection: disconnect,
reconnect and perform another leak test. If you still see bubbles after several attempts, the cylinder regulator is defective
and should be returned to the place of purchase.
•
Shut off the gas supply to the cylinder if a gas odor is detected.
•
Do not transport the stove while it is in operation.
•
Do not move the stove after it has been turned off until it has cooled down.
•
Keep the ventilation openings of the canister compartment free of obstructions. Do not paint the micro-perforated
screen, control panel or top cap.
•
The controls, burners and air duct circulation of the stove must be kept clean.
•
Cleaning maintenance is required every six months.
•
Shut off the gas supply to the cylinder when the stove is not in operation.
•
Check the stove immediately if any of the following situations occur:
- The stove does not heat.
- The burner makes popping noises during use (a slight noise is normal when the burner is turned off).
- Gas odor with a very yellow flame.
•
The gas regulator / hose must be located in a suitable place to avoid tripping and be protected from damage and acci-
dents.
•
Any guards or other protective devices should be removed before using the heater.
•
Adults and children should be kept away from high temperature surface to avoid burns or ignition of clothing.
•
Children should be supervised when in the stove area. Clothing or other flammable materials should not be hung on the
stove or placed on or near the stove.
•
To change the gas cylinder, it must be done in a well ventilated area, far from any contact with ignition points (candles,
cigarettes, other flame-producing devices, ...);
•
Check that the regulator and rubber hose are properly installed with the clamps. In case of gas leakage, the appliance
should not be used or if the gas supply is turned off, the appliance should be inspected and corrected before being used
again;
•
Check the hose at least once a month, every time the canister is changed, or before
each season of use.
•
If it shows signs of cracking, splitting or other deterioration, it will be exchanged
again.
•
