7. mOuNTING + OPERATION
After the initial assembly, still before start-up, the crane must
be examined by an expert (item 8) and the release confirmed in
the examination book.
Swivel jib crans - Assembly (fig. 2 + 3)
Assembly and disassembly by 2 persons
Always wear protective gloves.
Before initial operation, attach the suspension rope (optional 101524)
to the mast using the pin (152507) and with the adapter (152870),
optionally the attachment for chain hoist (152502).
(–> Relocation of adapter or mounting for chain hoist)
Fasten the rope winch to the mast using the mounting bracket (152510
(VA) / 152505 (galvanised)) (2 screws M10x100, as well as 4 screws
GB
M10x20, tightening torque 32 Nm).
Select the position depending on the application (–> moving the rope winch).
Guide the rope through the rope pulley and attach it to the rope winch
(–> rope assembly fig. 3 - fig. 4).
Dislocation of the rope winch (fig. 2):
Only move the rope winch when not under load!
z Loosen the 2 clamping screws M10x100 on the mounting
bracket.
z Move the rope winch.
z Tighten at the desired position with a torque of 32 Nm.
Note: The load rope must not rub against the rope winch.
The following rules apply always:
The rope must always be tensioned (loa-
ded), in order to prevent the rope jumping
the drum and pulley.
Winch - Mounting of rope
Hard solder the rope end clamp to the rope drum with a hexagonal wrench
(SW4) (fig 3).
After rotating the crank in clockwise direction, the rope must reel up on
the drum as illustrated in fig. 4.

Winch - Operation
A functional test must always be accomplished before
beginning work.
Lift the load: Turn crank clockwise.
Lower the load: Turn crank anti-clockwise.

Move the adapter (fig. 5):
Only move when not under load!
z Release cotter pin (100557) and withdraw bolt (152507).
The suspension rope (101524, optional) can fall
out.
z When the desired projection is reached, attach the adapter
(152870) / suspension rope (101524, optional) with pin
(152507) and cotter pin (100557) according to fig. 5.

Moving the mounting for chain hoist (fig. 6):
Only move when not under load!
z Release cotter pin (100557) and withdraw bolt (152507).

out.
z When the desired projection is reached, attach the mounting
(152502) and suspension rope (101524, optional) with pin
(152507) and cotter pin (100557) according to fig. 6.

Manual chain hoist - Operation
