The area in which the mobile dryer is used should be
ventilated to such an extent that the solvent concen-
tration never rises above 50% of the lower explosion
limit.
Within a radius of 5 m around the mobile dryer, it is
forbidden to use or to store solvent-containing mate-
rials.

6. Operating instructions

6.1 Check that the main switch is switched off, posi-
tion 0.
6.2 Connect the mobile dryer's connector into the appro-
priate wall socket.
6.3 Turn the main switch to position 1. The display
should now be lit. If another language is required, see
chapter 7 - "Settings and automatic testing".
6.4 Using the cursor keys, select the desired drying
programme. The pre-programmed programmes are:
coarse putty, fine putty, filler, base coat, top coat or
clear varnish. Confirm your choice by pressing
"Enter" so that the programmed values appear

6.5 Press "1" to start. Once the correct distance is
obtained, press "1" to start the heating cycle. The
lamps are now switched on and emit a pulsating
light, the cooling ventilators are also activated.

The remaining preheating time is now shown on the
display, after that, the remaining drying time is
shown.
On mobile dryers which are equipped with 2 cas-
settes, it is possible to choose 1 resp. 2 cassette(s)
with the I/II button. Selection can occur before the
start of or during operation.
If the heating process needs to be interrupted before
the programme has been completed, press "0".
The cooling ventilators have a time delay and are
therefore operational 3 mins. after the drying pro-
gramme has been completed.
Settings and automatic testing
The following sequences of settings should be car-
ried out in the following order, although, irrespective
of stage reached, it is always possible to return to the
main menu by simply pressing "0" after adjustments
have been made.
Turn the main switch to the "0" position. Press the
cursor up/down keys simultaneously and turn the
main switch to the "1" position.
Language selection
Scroll using the cursor up/down keys until the cor-
rect language appears. Confirm the selection of
language by pressing "Enter".
Default selection
The unit is delivered with low settings for new
users. If you are familiar with this powerful
equipment, switching over to the high settings is
done by selecting HIGH. Confirm the selection by
pressing "Enter".
Statistics
Statistics now appear which show the accumulated
operation time in hours and minutes. Confirm using
"Enter". The total number of times the mobile dryer
has been started will appear - confirm with "Enter".
Resetting programme memory
Next, a question appears as to whether programme
memory should be reset to zero. Use the cursor up/
down keys to select yes or no. If YES, the pre-
programmed drying programmes will be reset to the
factory-set values and the three extra programmes
will be set to zero. If NO, the programme memory
will remain unchanged. Confirm by pressing
"Enter".
