8.1 Filter replacement
1. Remove the two metal clips at the cassette's gable
ends.
2. Pull the filter straight out.
3. When the new filter is being installed, the IRT-
logotype should face outwards.
4. Press the long edges of the filter into the cassette's
groove.
5. Replace the metal clips.
NOTE! The filter is a disposable type and, as such,
should not be cleaned with the help of compressed
air as this considerably reduces the filtering capac-
ity.
8.2 Replacement of IR-lamp
NOTE! Do not touch the gold coated reflector foil or
the new lamp's glass tubing. Retain the protective
paper on the lamp until it has been installed.
NOTE! Horizontal and vertical lamps have a rated
power of 1 kW. Check that the new lamp has the
correct marking.
1. Switch off the mobile dryer's main switch (0).
2. Take the dryer's connector out of the wall socket.
3. Remove the upper two screws from the upper part of
the front plate in accordance with point 5 of the
assembly instructions.
4. Disconnect the cable attachment.
5. Remove the four screws at the ends of the reflector
and lift the reflector up from the plate.
6. Pull out the protective mesh and unscrew the lamp.
7. Install the new lamp.
