D) MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
1) Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be su re the
equipment is in safe working condition. Routine main-
tenance is essential for safety and for maintaining a
high performance level.
2) Do not perform any work on the machine that is not
described in this manual unless adequately skilled with
appropriate tools.
3) Allow the motor to cool down before storing in any
enclosure.
4) To reduce fire risks, do not leave containers with
debris inside a room.
5) Wear work gloves when performing all maintenance.
6) For safety reasons, never use the machine with worn
or damaged parts. Damaged parts are to be replaced
and never repaired. Only use original spare parts. Parts
that are not of the same quality can seriously damage
the e quip ment and compromise safety.
7) Before putting the machine away, check you ha ve
removed wrenches or tools used for maintenance.
8) Store the machine out of the reach of children.
9) Often inspect the bag to avoid wear and a decrease
in quality.
E) ADDITIONAL WARNINGS
1) Before each use, check the machine for damage.
Any repairs must be done at a specialised centre.
Turn off the machine and disconnect the plug from the
socket if the machine begins to vibrate abnormally, then
contact a specialised centre for inspection.
2) Parts subject to wear must only be replaced at a
specialised centre.
3) Never use the machine if the power cable or exten-
sion cable are damaged or worn.
4) Never connect a damaged cable to a mains socket
and never touch a damaged cable that is connected
to the mains socket. Damaged or deteriorated cables
may cause contact with energised parts.
5) If the machine's power cable is damaged, it can only
be replaced with an original spare part by your dealer or
an authorised service centre.
6) Power up the machine using a differential switch
(RCD - Residual Current Device) with a tripping current
of max. 30 mA.
7) The permanent connection of any electrical equip-
ment to the mains of a building must be installed by a

The machine can be used as both a blower and
a vacuum collector; for both of these uses it is
necessa ry to correctly arrange the appropriate
accesso ries included with the equipment.

in force. Incorrect wiring can cause serious injury and
even death.
8) WARNING: DANGER! Moisture and electricity are
not compatible:
– always handle and connect electric cables in dry
conditions;
– never allow electric sockets or cables to contact wet
areas (puddles or wet grass);
– connections between cables and sockets must
always be watertight. Only use extension leads with
intact, watertight and approved sockets sold on the
market.
9) The quality of the extension leads must be no less
than H07RN-F or H07VV-F, with a minimum section of
1.5 mm
and a recommended maximum length of 25 m.

10) Attach the extension lead to the cable fastener
before starting the machine.
11) Never pass the vacuum tube over an electric cable.
Use the cable fastener to prevent the cable from di-
sconnecting accidentally as indicated in this manual.
Make sure it is connected to the socket without being
forced.
12) Never pull the machine by its power cable or use
the cable to pull the plug. Do not expose the cable to
sources of heat, or let it come into contact with oil,
solvents and sharp objects.
F) TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING
1) Whenever the machine is to be handled or transpor-
ted you must:
– turn off the motor;
– only hold the machine using the handgrips and posi-
tion the tubes so that they do not ob struct.
2) When moving the machine by motor vehicle, re-
move the pipes and position so it is not a hazard for
anyone and secure it firmly to prevent it from turning
over.
G) ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
1) Dispose of the packaging and waste mate rials in
accordance with the local laws in force.
2) At the time of decommissioning, do not pollute the
environment with the machine, hand it over to a dispo-
sal centre, in accordance with the local laws in force.
1. TO USE AS A BLOWER (Fig. 1)
– Apply the intake grille (1) to the power unit (2),
positioning it as indicated and turning it 90°
clockwise.
– Attach the intake grille (1) to the power unit (2)
fastening it to the catch (3) with the specific le-
ver (4).
– Align the blower tube (5) to the opening of the
power unit and push it to the end until it firmly
locks into place.
