To Attach/Detach Battery Pack
(Fig. 2)
To attach the battery pack:
Align the raised rib on the battery pack with the
grooves of the battery bay in the fan, and then
slide the battery pack into the bay.
NOTICE: When placing the battery pack on the
fan, be sure that the raised rib on the battery
pack aligns with the groove in the fan and that
the latches snap into place properly. Improper
attachment of the battery pack can cause
damage to internal components.
To detach the battery pack:
Depress the battery-release button located on
the front of the battery pack, to release the battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and remove
it from the fan.
WARNING
Powering the Fan
Use only the designated SKIL battery packs
listed in this manual, use of any other battery
packs may cause a risk of personal injury or
explosion.
You may power the product via the following
two ways:
1) Power the fan with the SKIL battery packs
designated in this manual.
2) Use a USB power adapter and a USB-C
cable (both are not included) to power the
fan via the USB-C power inlet port (Fig. 3)
NOTE: When the USB power cable is used, the
battery pack is automatically disconnected. The
USB power cable should be disconnected from
the power inlet port when not in use.
NOTE: If the switch is left in the ON position, the fan will not restart when the battery pack is
inserted. Turn the fan OFF and then ON to restart it. However, the fan will restart as soon as
the USB power cable is connected.
Always switch off the fan before attaching or detaching the battery
packs .
