Operation
Starting the Attachment
1.
Remove the protective cover from the blades
(Figure
6).
WARNING
The hedge trimmer blades can cause
cuts or amputation.
Be careful when handling the hedge
trimmer with the protective cover
removed.
2.
Ensure that the vents on the attachment, power
head, and battery are clear of any dust and
debris.
3.
Align the cavity in the battery pack with the
tongue on the handle housing
4.
Push the battery pack into the handle until the
battery locks into the latch.
5.
To start the attachment, press the lockout button,
then squeeze the run trigger
Note:
Slide the 2-speed switch to change the
speed of the attachment.

Rotating the Hedge Trimmer
Head
The hedge trimmer head can rotate 90° for different
cutting situations.
1.
Remove the battery pack; refer to
Battery Pack from the Power Head (page

Press the release trigger and the adjusting lever
toward each other and rotate the hedge trimmer
head.
3.
Release the lever and the trigger, and ensure
that the hedge trimmer head and adjusting lever
lock into place.
