  • Página 9 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR 4. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION 4.1 BASE INSTALLATION To assemble the microscope base, 4 wheels and 4 counterweights must be fitted. The wheels are assembled by screwing the bolt into the ends of the base as indicated in the following figure.

  • Página 14 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR In case of installing the binocular, the maneuver must be performed by releasing the Optical head adjustment screw, so that the binocular is inserted centrally in the upper part of the head. After the joint is centered and flat against the Optical head, press the adjustment screw so that the binocular remains firmly attached to the head.

Once the splitter is mounted to the optical head, proceed to connect the video and power cables.

The device shall only be operated by personnel trained in the use of this type of microscopes. 1) Connect the power supply cable to the microscope and then to the mains. 2) Press the power switch on the forearm to turn the unit on (the green indicator light will turn on).

From this module you can turn the light on or off, vary its intensity, select different diaphragm levels to reduce the illuminated field and select different light filters.
  • Página 19 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR 5.5 DIOPTRIC CORRECTION ADJUSTMENT The Ecleris Microstar OM-200 Microscope has independent dioptric correction for both eyepieces. The adjustment is made by turning the eyepieces towards the + sign or towards the – sign.

The forearm can rotate 320° related to the column axis, and it has stops to avoid the accumulation of turns and winding of the cables.
  • Página 21 USER MANUAL / MANUAL DE USUARIO – MICROSTAR 6.3 ROTATIONAL MOVEMENT OF THE OPTICAL HEAD The microscope has an elbow that positions the optical head at a fixed angle in relation to the arm. Movement can be regulated or totally blocked using the adjustment control command. If this command is completely loosened, the Optical head can be rotate freely on the end of the arm.

The rotational range is 0-360 degrees. The movement can be adjusted or completely locked using the control knob.

MAINTENANCE To maintain optimum operation of the Ecleris Microstar OM-200 Microscope, it is recommended to perform a revision of the equipment once a year. This procedure should include:  Checking turns and movements in order to evaluate the lubrication of the pieces.

Search for:  Faulty, broken or cut cables.  Faulty connection between the cable and the plug.  Oxide corrosion in connections pins. 7.3 FUSE CHANGE Disconnect the power cord from the electrical network.

INSTALACION Y PUESTA EN MARCHA 4.1 INSTALACION DE LA BASE Para ensamblar la base del microscopio se deben colocar 4 ruedas y 4 contrapesos. Las ruedas se montan enroscando el perno de la misma en los extremos de la base como indica la figura siguiente.
  • Página 42 MANUAL DE USUARIO / USER MANUAL – MICROSTAR Una vez colocados los pesos, se debe montar el cobertor plástico sobre la base de la columna como indica la siguiente figura: 4.2 INSTALACION DE LA COLUMNA La columna se debe instalar sobre la base, una vez que están las ruedas y el cobertor colocados. Para instalar la columna se debe colocar la misma sobre el eje central de la base como indica la siguiente figura: Ajustar el tornillo de fijación con una llave Allen.

Una vez montado el sistema de video al cabezal, proceda a instalar los cables de video y alimentación.

Para acceder al conector debe retirarse la tapa del antebrazo. 5.2.1 ANTEBRAZO 1.

Desde este módulo se puede apagar o encender la luz, variar la intensidad de la misma, seleccionar diferentes niveles de diafragma para disminuir el campo iluminado y seleccionar diferentes filtros de luz.

El antebrazo puede rotar 320º respecto al eje de la columna, y dispone de topes para evitar acumular giros y enroscar los cables.

MANTENIMIENTO Para conservar el funcionamiento óptimo del Microscopio Ecleris Microstar OM-200 se recomienda realizar una revisión anual del equipo. Este procedimiento deberá incluir:  Verificar giros y movimientos para evaluar el nivel de lubricación de los mismos.
