5.3 LIGHT SOURCE
The Ecleris Microstar OM-200 Microscope has a light module integrated to the microscope's
Optical head. From this module you can turn the light on or off, vary its intensity, select different
diaphragm levels to reduce the illuminated field and select different light filters.
Switch on / off integrated light
Increase light intensity
Decrease light intensity
Diaphragm selector
Light filter selector (Neutral / Green / Orange / Deep orange)
Magnification selector
Micro focus
The integrated light system has a ventilation system. Do not obstruct air circulation.
The integrated light system generates running temperatures above room temperature.
This generation of heat is normal.
5.4 INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE ADJUSTMENT
To perform this adjustment you must hold the body of the binocular with both hands and turn them
simultaneously. Move these backwards and forwards until the distance between the oculars
matches your interpupillary distance. The interpupillary distance can be manually adjusted
between 55 and 75 mm.
