5. DAILY USE
a) Quick check before use
Please check the following points before each use of the airbag to be properly
protected :
The airbag is in good condition with no tears or wear.
The cartridges are new and connected (see page 30).
The airbag is adjusted and closed correctly (see page 31).
The airbag battery is sufficiently charged (see page 34).
The airbag is switched on (see page 32).
The detection mode corresponds to your application (see page 30).
b) Wearing the OFF-ROAD airbag
CAUTION
•
The Off-ROAD airbag cannot be worn alone, it must be integrated under certified
and compatible protective clothing.
•
The airbag is not compatible with cervical collars (Neck Brace). Indeed, its use will
block the deployment of the airbag in the cervical area.
If you do not close the central zip, the effectiveness of the airbag may be reduced !
•
When you put on the airbag, before closing the central zip, please put the waist belt
in place and adjust it to your liking. Then, close the central zip all the way to the top.
Placement of the pectoral :
The pectoral is held by 2 upper straps and 2 lower side straps. The upper straps
are magnetic: engagement is therefore automatic when the male buckle passes
over the female buckle. Check visually that they are correctly clipped in spite of
everything. To unlock the buckle, simply pull the cord down. The lower straps are
attached with Velcro. They are adjustable in length: to adjust the length, move the
slider to one side or the other to shrink or enlarge.
