OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS
ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USE
It is forbidden:
- Use the accessory if all indications in the general warnings are not complied with.
- Use the accessory if the nameplate and/or markings are missing and/or illegible.
- Use the accessory if it and its components are not in good condition.
- Use the winch if the rope and hooks are not properly installed.
- Use the winch if safety devices are not functioning properly or are damaged.
- Secure the winch with any device other than its suspension pin.
- Rotate the lifted load.
- Use the winch for purposes or configurations other than those described in this user manual.
- Apply side loads to the winch (body, rope, pins or hooks).
- Motorise the winch or operate it in a way other than indicated.
- Apply additional extensions to the drive lever.
- Use several people to operate the winch.
- Lengthen, shorten or repair the cable, using clamps, screws or similar devices.
- Use the free end of the rope for lifting or anchoring.
- Clean the winch using high-pressure cleaning equipment and/or aggressive chemicals (e.g. acids, chlorinated products).
- Use the accessory above the WLL value.
- Use the winch in environments with temperatures outside -10°C to 50°C.
- Use the accessory to lift a load in environments where the wind speed is such that its stability is compromised.
- Use the winch to lift or move people.
- Use the winch in explosive or corrosive environments.
- Dropping the winch to the ground from a great height.
- Dropping a load on the slack rope.
- Use the winch in conditions that may cause excessive heat.
- Trying to lift or pull a tied load.
- Use the winch or the load rope as a sling.
- Use the winch or load rope as an electrical mass or electrical conductor.
- Apply the load to the tip of the hook.
- Force the operating lever to lift or pull a load if the lifting hook is against the body of the accessory or.
- Continue lowering or loosening if the end of the slack rope is about to reach the body of the winch.
- Pull a load to be lifted sideways.
- Swing the load under the winch.
- Stand or move under the load.
- Work on the winch without first removing the load.
WARRANTY
This equipment is manufactured and tested to current EU standards and is covered by a 12 month warranty for professional use
and a 24 month warranty for non-professional use.
At our discretion, faults due to material or production defects will be repaired by repair or replacement of the defective parts.
If one or more operations are carried out within the warranty period, the expiry date of the warranty does not change.
Defects due to wear and tear, incorrect or improper use, breakage caused by blows and/or falls are not subject to the guarantee.
Furthermore, the guarantee is void if modifications are made, if the equipment is tampered with or if it is sent to the service
department disassembled.
This warranty expressly excludes damages caused to/by persons and/or things of any kind and nature, direct and/or indirect.
