• Stop using the tool if discomfort, tingling feeling or pain
occurs. Seek medical advice before resuming use.
Prolonged exposure to vibration, repetitive motions and
uncomfortable positions can cause injury.
Bits and accessories may bind or jam when used.
• If the bit becomes bound in the workpiece, release the
trigger immediately, reverse the direction of rotation
and slowly squeeze the trigger to back out the bit.
• Be ready for strong reaction torque whenever the bit
binds, as the drill body will tend to twist in the opposite
direction as the bit is rotating.
Torque reaction may cause injury.
Sudden changes in motion or position can occur while
using the tool.
• Anticipate and be alert for changes in motion during
start up and operation.
• Maintain a secure grip.
• Anticipate reaction force. Adjust your stance and hold
tool securely.
• Observe the position of the reverse mechanism before
operating the tool and be aware of rotation direction
when you press the trigger. Sudden changes in motion

• Use bits and accessories rated at tool RPM (product
specific) or higher.
• Use drill bits and bit accesssories designed for use with
the quick disconnect.
• Securely tighten bits and accessories in the chuck
before operating the tool.
Flying particles can cause injury.
Avoid contact with the sharp edges of the bits and
accessories.
• Keep body parts away from the sharp edges of the bits
and accessories.
• Handle the sharp edges of the bits and accesssories
with care.
• Remove the bit from the tool before cleaning or
sharpening.
Contacting the sharp edge of the bit or accessory can
cause injury.
• Do not use the tool if it vibrates too much, makes
unusual noises, has loose parts, or shows any other
signs of damage.

immediately arrange for service and repair.
• Do not lubricate or clean tools with flammable or
volatile liquids such as kerosene, gasoline, diesel, or
jet fuel.
Battery Pack Safety

• Do not store the tool and battery in locations where the
temperature may reach or exceed 120°F (49°C).
• CTC772A/CTCA772A/CTCEU772A/CTCJ772A charger
will not charge battery when temperature is below 32°F
(0°C) or above 113°F (45°C).
• Do not incinerate the battery, even if severely damaged
or completely exhausted. The battery may explode in
fire.
• Cover the battery pack terminals with heavy adhesive
tape after removing the battery pack.
• Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble the battery
pack or remove any of its components.
• Do not charge battery pack using an engine generator
or DC power source.
• Charge battery pack in a well ventilated area.
Explosion or flames can cause injury.
Risk of electric shock.
• Do not disassemble the battery.
• Do not short circuit the battery.
• Charge battery pack only with Snap-on brand chargers
for specified battery packs.
• Disconnect battery pack when not in use, before
servicing and when changing accessories.
• Do not charge battery pack using an engine generator
or DC power source.

• Battery leakage may occur under conditions of extreme
usage or temperature.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
