Fixing the track
Fix the track to the stairs
Items required:
• Screws
1 Check that the height of each stanchion
is correct.
2 Drive the power pack up and down the stairs
to ensure that it will not encounter any
unforeseen obstacles.
Note: Look for any other potential obstacles
such as window ledges or exposed pipework
that could obstruct the movement of the lift
at this stage. If there are any other obstacles
then move the track away from the wall until
the rear edge of the power pack can travel
freely past them.
3 When all the stanchions are vertically aligned
tighten the screws fully to fasten the foot to
the floor or riser (Figure 117).
