Bridging the amplifier channels
• By bridging the amplifier channels, you can use a
Y-cable (not supplied) to connect to both INPUT
connectors for more powerful output.
• The channels of the amplifier that can be bridged
are the pair of CH 1/2, CH 3/4, CH 5/6, and CH 7/8.
• The example below shows the connection when
bridging CH 1/2, CH 3/4, CH 5/6, and CH 7/8.

When bridging the amplifier channels, use a Y-cable to
connect to both INPUT connectors.
*2 Connect to the INPUT/LINE OUT connector using the
connection cable . For details, see "Input Connection"
(page 11).
Notes
• Use speakers with an impedance rating of 4 Ω – 8 Ω for this
connection.
• When connecting the subwoofer to a channel, set the
FILTER to "LP" and the RANGE to "50-500".
When connecting another type of speaker, set the FILTER
and RANGE of the channel to the appropriate settings
according to your needs.
• For how to set the INPUT MODE switch, see  to  under
"System Connection" (page 12).

Output Connection
Through the LINE OUT connector of the connection
cable , this amplifier can output signals to an
additional amplifier. This allows a flexible system
connection that utilizes multiple amplifiers.

Notes
• The amplifier only outputs audio signals from INPUT 1,
INPUT 2, INPUT 3, and INPUT 4 to the LINE OUT connector.
• Audio signals output from LINE OUT connectors are not
affected by any signal processing, such as the HPF and LPF
settings.
• Refer to the operating instructions supplied with your
additional amplifier for connection details.
