5.2. Camera Focus
Camera focus may be adjusted by rotating the lens-holding ring located along the camera
shaft until the image becomes clear. The focus can be locked into place by tightening the
gear-shaped ring against the HD Camera body.
5.3. Connecting External Monitor
• Recording video
Short press the Record Button on the Recording Unit. The device will beep,
o
the Record Button will flash blue, and a red dot will flash at the top, right corner
of the display.
• Capture still image
o Still images can be captured at any time after system start up by pressing the
Capture Button
5.4. Connecting Mains Power
• Recorded video is saved as .MP4 format in a "DCIM\Movie" directory that is
automatically created on the microSDXC card.
• Captured images are saved as .JPG format in a "DCIM\Photo" directory that is also
automatically created on the microSDXC card.
• A 128GB microSDXC card can store up to 20 hours of video.
• The system is configured to store video recordings in a fixed time interval. If a video is
shorter than this interval, the video will be saved as one file. If a video is longer than
this interval, the recording file will be segmented and stored as multiple files.
• Video and Image files will be saved according to the following naming format:
o DATE + TIME + SERIAL NUMBER or YYYY_MMDD_HHMMSS_XXX
• When the microSDXC card runs out of available space, previous files will be
overwritten automatically. Please ensure to backup files regularly.
• While turned ON, the Recording Unit file system can be browsed by a connected PC
through the Micro-USB connector.
NOTE: Browsing the Recording Unit file system is only possible when the unit is not
recording.
