INSTALLATION
PROCEDURES FOR
HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
Before connection of the SimeConn it is
strongly recommended that the heating
plant be thoroughly flushed.
Once these operations have been carried
out, it is possible to hydraulically and
mechanically connect the module following
the description of fig. 3 indicating the input
and output positions of the various circuits.
A-B
indicate attachments ø 3/4" - 1" M
primary heat input (A) and primary
plant return (B)
E-F
indicate attachments ø 3/4" - 1" M
flow (E) and return (F) of the internal
heating/cooling plant.
C-D
indicate attachments ø 3/4" - 1" M
domestic hot water input (C) and
domestic cold water input (D).
G-H
indicate attachments ø 3/4" - 1" M
domestic hot water output (G) and
domestic cold water output (H).
The SimeConn module is provided with iso-
lation valves pre-fitted to the metal frame.
It is also recommended to check the good
efficiency status of the control and protec-
tion safety devices of the centralised plant.
When you install SimeConn 2 and 3 ways
1", remove the 2 parts shown in fig. 5.
ELECTRIC CONNECTION
The electrical power supply to the module
must be 240v single phase through a fused
main switch ,with at least 3mm spacing
between contacts.
Note: Sime declines all responsibility for
injury or damage to persons, animals or
property, resulting from failure to provide
proper earthing of the appliance.
The recommended connections are shown
in the layout of fig. 5. Voltage free external

controls (programmer, room thermostat
etc) is made via the TA connection after
removal of the link.
The only electric component present inside
the equipment is the motorised control
valve, when the user requests heat, through
the central controls, the servo-motor oper-
ates, opening valve.

nection of accessories to the MBUS. It is
important to respect the polarity.
Completed all operations, close the ther-
mal insulation box and remove the plug
(shown in fig. 6).
Caution!
Seal the thermal insulation box by scotch
tape.
