Shut off the laser line by pressing button C for the fifth time
(green light B will stay on).
By pressing button C for the sixth time, the tool will go back
to projecting horizontal lines again.
Obstructions in front of the tool will not affect the line
projection, figure 5.

These glasses will not protect your eyes against laser
radiation. Do not use them as protective glasses
against strong sun light or in traffic.
Tripod (figure 12)
Unfold the tripod.
Adjust length of 3 legs with knobs G.
Adjust length of rod H with knob I.
First mount adapter J to the tool, before mounting it to tripod.
Ensure that the tripod base is firmly fixed to the tripod.
Level the tripod with handle K, knob L and level M.
Use knob T for rotating the tripod base around its axis.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always lock the self-leveling system during transportation,
by putting switch A in the "OFF" position.
Do not expose the tool to continuous vibration or extremely
hot or cold temperatures.
Always store the tool indoors in its protective carton/case.
Always keep the tool free of dust, moisture and direct
sunlight.
Clean the tool with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Always remove the batteries before cleaning the lens.
Do not disassemble or modify the tool in any way.
Do not attempt to change any part of the laser lens.
If the machine should fail despite the rigorous manufacturing
and testing procedures, repair should be carried out by an
authorized customer services center for SKIL power tools.
Guarantee
We guarantee SKIL appliances in accordance with
statutory/country-specific regulations (proof of purchase by
invoice or delivery note).
Damage attributable to normal wear and tear, overload or
improper handling will be excluded from the guarantee. In
case of complaint please send the machine, undismantled,
to your dealer or the SKIL Service Center for Electric Power
Tools.

Environmental protection
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste.
The machine, accessories and packaging should be sorted
for environmental-friendly recycling.
Do not throw used batteries into household waste, fire or
water, but rather – according to the applicable legal
regulations – dispose of in an environmentally friendly
manner.
WARNING: In many regions, it is illegal to place spent
batteries in the trash or municipal solid waste stream. We
recommend that you return all used batteries to the nearest
Skil Authorized Service depot. Skil is involved in a recycling
program as part of our commitment to preserving our
environment and conserving our natural resources.
The plastic components are labeled for categorized
recycling.
