HOW TO USE THE CHOPPER
- Place the bowl (2) on the motor unit (1) and the blade (3) on the central axis (6)
– (Fig. B) and check whether it''D5s properly fitted.
- Insert into the bowl the ingredients cut in not very big pieces.
- Place the lid (4) onto the motor unit (1).
- Connect the supply cord to the wall socket.
- Start the appliance by pressing the lid (4) downward with the palm of your hand,
giving short impulses (Fig. C).
- If, by any chance, the appliance is not working, check between the lid (4) and the
bowl (2) for any food.
- In order to stop the appliance, simply release the lid (4). A safety lock will immediately
stop the blade spinning (3).
- Remove the lid (4) pulling it upwards.
- Remove the blade (3) by pressing the central knob (Fig. D) and lift it together with
the bowl (2).
- Wrap the supply cord around the base of the motor unit (Fig. E).
PRACTICAL HINTS
- Never use the appliance when it''D5s empty.
- In order to get a better result with your chopper, press the lid (4) by mean of impulses
(1, 2, 3 system).
- In order to get a finer and more homogeneous chopping, remove, if necessary, the
ingredients from the bowl walls (2) and place them in the centre with the help of a
spatula.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before starting any cleaning operation, remove the supply cord from the wall socket.
- Do not use abrasive products.
- To clean the blade (3) (handle it with care) place it under a strong jet of hot water
(Fig. F). The use of a brush is recommended in order to avoid the direct contact with
the blade.
- The bowl (2) and the lid (4) may be washed as usual with warm water and washing
up liquid. When using the dishwasher, avoid the programs with temperatures above
65ºC.
- The eventual colouring of the parts in touch with the food (e.g. oranges and carrots)
may be eliminated with a cloth soaked up with cooking oil.
- Never dip the motor unit into water or any other liquid; to clean it, use a smooth
and damp cloth only.
- The parts, which were in contact with food, must be washed immediately after they
are used.
