6.1

DISPOSAL OF THE DEVICE

Consult local, state and federal regulations prior to disposing of this device or its
electrical/electronic accessories.
6.2

DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING

The packaging is an important part of our product: it protects our devices from damage dur-
ing transportation and reduces the risk of a device fault. For this reason, we cannot avoid
using packaging. If you need to return or send in your device to the service or customer ser-
vice department either during or after the warranty period, the original packaging provides
the best protection against damages in transit.
If you nevertheless wish to dispose of the packaging, you can do this at any time and without
limitation via your local waste management facilities (waste paper skip, yellow skip, recycling
depot, waste paper collection etc.).

DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES

Consult local, state and federal regulations prior to disposing of single-use or rechargeable bat-
teries. Many states have a law regarding the proper disposal of batteries. Some states make it
illegal to dispose of any batteries in the trash.
Remedy
Check whether the mixing bowl lid is closed.
Replace old batteries with new ones.
