POWER SUPPLY
The use of an extension cord is mandatory, so check that
it is in good electrical condition, as stipulated in the safety
instructions in this document.
While remaining unplugged from the AC outlet, route the
extension cable into the intended power supply socket.
START/STOP
WARNING!
First and foremost, make sure that the surface on which you start is free of foreign objects,
stones, pebbles, etc. can be thrown up during work.
Before connecting the plug, check that the safety button and the handle are not engaged.
The collection bag must be in place before using the tool.
•
Bring the machine to the work area and connect the exten-
sion cord to the power.
•
Press and hold the safety button.
•
Press the forward/backward handle on the handlebars.
•
Release the safety button.
•
Keep the handle pressed when working.
•
To stop the engine, release the forward/backward handle.
•
Put the cutting depth in the transport position when you are
no longer using the machine.
•
Before restarting, always check that the blade is completely
stopped. Don't start and stop the machine quickly.
EMPTYING THE COLLECTION BAG
Before attempting to empty the collection bag, make sure that the blade roller is not rotating and that the
machine is disconnected.
Warning! Never open the bag cover when the engine is still running. If the blade
roller is moving it may cause injuries.
•
As soon as cut grass stays in the worked area, you need to empty the bag collector.
•
To unhook the collection bag, lift the cover of the collection bag with one hand and remove the
collection bag with your other hand.
•
Empty the collection bag.
•
Replace the collection bag before using the device again.
Empty the container regularly while working. Never wait until it's completely full. It's recommended you
empty the bag when it's half full.
WARNING! Never try to use the tool without the collection bag. There's a risk of objects being thrown
into the air!
Please note: The device functions less well if the tray is too full.
